Brief Information About Kayseri

With a history dating back to 4000 BC, Kayseri is one of the most important cultural and sports centers of Central Anatolia. The mosques, madrasahs, vaults, religious places, inns, baths and bedesten from the Seljuk Empire are the main historical values of the city. Previously it was home to the Roman and Byzantine Empires. There are 3 things that make Kayseri unforgettable. The first is mantı, the second is pastırma (bacon) and the third is Mount Erciyes. Mount Erciyes has ski resorts and hotels for winter tourism. Therefore, Kayseri is a preferred attraction center in summer and winter.
